Manor "Golden Lion"
about
wedding
A couple came to us with a desire to have a wedding in a Russian style, without the classic ceremony and toasts. They wanted a party for close friends and family.
We moved away from the typical Russian solutions, but kept simple peasant elements, focusing on hay, wildflowers, and the concept of a Slavic rave for the visual program. It was stylish, monochromatic, and unlike anything done before - a celebration for a young modern couple who love techno.
The bride and groom's outfits were put together from stylish pieces by Russian designers, and the skirt and headwear for the female attire were ordered from a tailor and a master.
Guests received invitations to "this celebration" and a "beer feast," as well as a dress code guide with examples and a selection of places to purchase or order similar attire. Many guests liked the idea of dressing in linen shirts, which we had also prepared in advance.
The venue was the "Golden Lion" estate with convenient infrastructure and a picturesque field for a morning photoshoot.
The program included rituals, a wedding loaf, and a feast accompanied by a folk group that sang modern songs on the harmonica and balalaika - all in Slavic style.
Zventa Sventana performed a mix of folklore and electronic music on the hayloft stage. And then DJ Monoplay played a rave. We lit a bonfire, and the bar served homemade liqueurs - it was a great time and very warm!
