Our heroes are a couple for whom emotions and the impressions of loved ones were the most important part of the celebration. The couple lives outside of Russia and invited guests from different parts of the world. Therefore, Istanbul, a city at the crossroads of Europe and Asia with convenient flights from different countries, became the meeting place.
All preparations were done online, and our team communicated with the couple via video calls. They met in person on the day of the celebration and enjoyed the result together.
Our task was to organize a minimalist wedding in colorful Turkey, and the team managed to find the perfect venue: the Mandarin Oriental Istanbul with its restrained interior, excellent service, and luxurious view of the Bosphorus. All that was left was to add the decor.
In the dining hall, we built columns from lightweight transparent material with a stone texture from scratch. They did not limit the view but helped maintain the aesthetic. The white floristry completed the picture. Flowers also decorated the ceremony area, along with original square poufs and candles.
The guests' light dress code supported the minimalist wedding, and even the weather cooperated: it was pleasantly overcast and fresh.
The concert program, where singers Meladze and Johnny performed their best hits, organically fit into the classic and modern atmosphere of the evening.
The result was an exemplary minimalist wedding with a focus on the most important things: bright emotions and the celebration of love.
